1. The
pogo pins should be placed in effective parts, such as bones, columns, steps and other complex structures. The apical pins on either side of the bone position and the column position should be arranged as symmetrically as possible. The distance between the thimble and the bone position and the position of the post position is usually D = 1.5MM. Make sure that the centerlines of the ejector pins on both sides of the post location pass through the center of the post location.
2. Avoid thimbles on steps or inclined surfaces. The top surface of the
pogo pins should be as flat as possible. The thimble should be placed on the structural part with good force.
3. When the rubber part has a deep bone position (depth ≥ 20MM) or it is difficult to arrange a dome thimble, a flat pogo pin should be used. When a flat thimble is required, the flat thimble should be in the form of an insert for ease of processing.
4. Avoid sharp point steel, thin steel, especially the top surface of the
pogo pins, it must not touch the front die surface.
5. The
pogo pins arrangement should consider the edge distance between the thimble and the water delivery channel to avoid affecting the processing and water leakage of the water delivery channel.
6. For plastic parts with appearance requirements, the pogo pins should not be placed on the design surface, and other spray methods should also be used.
7. For transparent plastic parts, the pogo pins cannot be placed in the part that needs to transmit light.
8. Select a larger diameter pogo pins. That is, with sufficient injection locations, a larger diameter and size preferred pogo pins should be used.
9. The size of the pogo pins should be as small as possible. When using pogo pins, they should be sized to minimize size , and the preferred size series should be used at first.
